The Knights of Columbus are actively involved in many charitable causes. Our founder, Blessed Father Michael McGivney, founded the Knights of Columbus to minister to widows and orphans. The Knights, and Council 13243, along with Patriotic Degree Assembly 2865, continue that work today, 138 years later. Parish Lighting
The outdoor lighting at Our Lady of Grace has been dismal and substandard for years. Lights had burned out. Poles were leaning over. The entire campus, especially behind the church and the Servite Center, was pitch black at night, causing a danger of falling, or worse. It was a potential breeding ground for crime, and could not continue. At long last, our pastor Father Vilaire, along with the parish staff, decided to have adequate outdoor lighting installed. Along with other parish ministries, the Knights stepped forward and made a $1,000 donation toward the cause, easing the burden somewhat, on the parish at large. You can view a video of the donation at the 9 A.M. Mass by clicking the image below.
